D2 Engine Driven Air Compressor?

I have been down the engine-driven compressor road twice. They are more trouble than they are worth (typically). Dealing with oil in the lines (try blowing dust off your truck or gear only to get it covered in oil), servicing the York (checking the oil and refiling it), the damage that can result from under-lubrication or engaging accidentally while driving, etc.

Just use a nice 12v unit and a tank IMO.

Interesting perspective. I can see the pros and cons.

Did you have an oil seperator after the compressor?

Would be nice to have the high volume. But it does seem complicated to set up. That's why I posted. If there's no easy way, and it's questionable benefit then, out it goes.
