More of a public service announcement, but wanted to make sure people don't have the same experience I did.
Long story short, I have being looking at the DAC truck tents for a few years. Thinking they would be a great way to extend the room in my canopy set up, and hopefully give a bit more air flow. I have searched the internet high and low for information on them, and didn't find a ton, but what I did the reviews seemed good.
Finally had a trip warranting spending a bit of money on gear, and ordered a full size version for my F150. Less than a week and there it was on my door step.
It sits on my desk for a week, as I had the canopy off the truck for some yard work. Then get my Leer 122 "highrise" canopy on and start playing around with the new tent. Fifteen minutes of messing about and I discover that the FULL SIZE DAC TENT WILL NOT WORK WITH A HIGHRISE CANOPY/TOPPER . I am Very disappointed as the tent looks really well made and would be perfect for my uses.
Anyhow for anyone looking into these tents, hopefully this helps.
