Day Tripper

Well Rex and I are curently on our way to Canyon De Chelly, it was a spurt of the moment trip, we both had a day off and went to Flagstaff to spend the night, and on to further adventures, camera in hand and eager to see what there is to find

we just passed Winslow, AZ......Im amazes me that the Eagles would even have added a place like this in a song. "Takin it Easy" is just about all that there is to do there, <{:O) No flat bed Ford for me.

Rex and I have a LIST. we have traveled so much, we have seen many places, and when we finally grow up and move to our retirement city. Winslow will NOT be on that list.

The list is basically places we would never want to live, Like Needles or Barstow, or Weed , Ca, Golden Valley, Aguila or Hope AZ, (however the people of HOPE have a sense of humor, they have a sign that says "You are Beyond Hope" as you are leaving.)

I will keep you posted on the Canyon De Chelly trip

Have a great day
Carrie & Rex <{:O)

Automotive ADHD is fun!
I've always been a fan of Hemet, CA. There's a lovely toilet of a town.

Of course, I live in one of the places I have always vowed not to live - so mayhaps I should shut up :)

I love little spur-of-the-moment trips like that. A nice reminder that you don't need much of anything to get out there and enjoy life.

wow

That is a great trip, there are way too many people who just sit at home in front of the tube. I had a chance to see what they are missing.

Rex and I hires a guide named Calvin for 3 hours, he is featured in last months National Geographic, he was a blast, the trip was great, perfect weather and great pictures to follow.

Oh, we live in PPrescott, but do not want to retire there.
