After soaking in in the hot springs with my new friends :Wow1: and having a nice rest I headed back to Saline Valley Road and up the North Pass to refuel in Big Pine and to spend the night at Eureka Dunes. After leaving the Saline Valley it was up into the higher elevations and the pines. After a quick lunch I headed back to the northern end of Death Valley and descended to Eureka Dunes. The poor chap in the last photo made his way several hundred feet up a dune (and not in a straight line I might add) only to expire once he reached the top.
