Just got back from a day at Devils Den and thought I'd share some pics. Devils Den is in the NW Corner of Arkansas.

Looks like a beautiful area.

When I moved away from the mountains to the midwest, I thought for a long time that adventure and beauty would be hard to find--typical self-centered emotions of someone spoiled by the "easy" beauty of the mountains.

Green on limestone and running water, with mist filtering through the trees...or frozen water over limestone cliffs...turned out to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

How far is that from Fayetteville?

Not far, maybe an hour depending on what way you take. It is (roughly) between Fayetteville and Fort Smith.

It has been a few years since I was there, but it has been on the itinerary for some empty weekend.
