As long as you don't install the head gasket incorrectly (yes, it has a direction) then you should be fine.
Helped my friend a couple years ago replace his. Long story short, if we had the proper tools and a decent place to actually do the work then it would've gone a lot faster.

Frank you probably already know this but take a chunk of cardboard and make a template with one end labeled front and put the push rods in holes in the cardboard as you pull them so you can put them back in the same holes on re assembly. Going to have the valves ground and new seals put on while you have it off or going right back on with it ?
