I doubt anyone will be buying a 2016 Range Rover because of its fuel economy. Sadly the 'car for all reasons' has become far too exclusive.

That may be true but if successful the LR4 should get the 3.0 V6 diesel we get here, it has 255bhp and does mid 30s to a real gallon of fuel.

The best thing i've heard from people who had petrol RR's and changed to the diesel ones is the far larger range to a tank, without losing much of the performance of the petrol version.

Wonder if the SDV8 models will also appear in time, those engines are superb in the L405 model!
