Diesel heater for my RTT!??

I purchased a diesel heater for my RTT a month ago and it works really well. At 20% pump rate and an ambient of 30 degrees Fahrenheit, tent was a comfortable 68 degrees. It is a forced heater and my idea for it is to put an air to water heat exchanger on it. I’m trying to go the route of thermosiphon to preserve the electrical efficiency of the heater. The diesel heater will be mounted inside the trailer and will have to have 2 coolant lines going into the tent which is roughly 5’ of hose until it connects to a radiator inside the tent.

My question to you is is the thermosiphon going to work at 5’ in length at roughly 1/2” id?

Id rather not have to place a bulky duct into the tent. If thermosiphon does not work, my only option would be to place a pump on the loop but that would be my last option. I already have all of the required parts as they’ve been installed on my Jeep in previous years so air to water heat is a free modification to me.

I know it’s a complex set up but I’m building the trailer to be set up and enjoyable versus setting up several items for comfort. Easier to build it all in and turn items on with the press of a button!

The trailer will have 2 tool boxes on top of the diamond plate and there will be 2’x6’ covered enclosure for storage. I intend to run the coolant lines through this box in order to hide them. #stealth
