Up for sale is a custom designed Diesel Heater – Heat Exchanger setup for Coolant – Air, Coolant – Water and Direct Water heating. (PIC DOES NOT SHOW THE HEAT EXCHANGER AND THE ASSOCIATED VALVES, will post updated pics shortly)
Components needed to complete the setup (not included) – All connections are plug and play. 3/8” hose barbs are provided for all connection points.

• For Both Air and Water Heating – Coolant reservoir , hoses, Water Tank / Source with Pump, Coolant – Air Heat Exchanger.
• For Water heating only – Water tank / Source with pump
• Weighs ~ 30 lbs
• Rough envelope - 24" Length x 11" Width x 16" Height
• All connections are 3/8" with a 1/4" Fuel line for Diesel / kerosene
• Starter switch and heat output control are integral to the heater, Plug and play wiring

Basic Components of the system
1. Simple, Uncomplicated Superfex 460 Heater (12-24V DC Operation), World War II origin, Runs on Kerosene or Diesel.

2. High Efficiency Plate and Frame Heat Exchanger (SVEA Model)
3. Stainless steel 3/8” Tubing with associated High Pressure 3-way Stainless Steel Valves.
4. Stainless Steel Fuel Line with associated Shut Off valve
Operation Modes
1. If only water heating is needed, you can directly attach the Water source to the Coolant circuit, thereby running the system only with water.
2. For both water and air heating, Attach the Coolant bottle (Hose Barb provided for Supply and return). The Coolant passes through the heater, then is passed on to the Heat Exchanger and then through 2 shut off valves to the Coolant – Air Circuit. Water and coolant is heated by convection. There is a 3 say diversion valve, to divert all coolant supply from the coolant – water circuit to the coolant – air circuit, if only air heating is desired. Air Heating circuit is optional. If not needed, the hose barb attachment points can be shut off and isolated.
Instead of using a coolant as a heat transfer medium, the entire system can be run on full water, thereby making the Coolant – Water heat exchanger redundant.

The Heater was bought for $200 off ebay, the Heat Exchanger for $ 70 and the associated valves and stainless tubing are worth more than $400. Looking to sell the complete setup for $ 300 ($350 including shipping to CONUS). This is heavy, around 30lbs, so shipping might be around $ 70. Can ship, if needed. Item is located in Buffalo, NY.

This can be used as is for directly heating water (connect a diesel source and a water source) or can be setup for heating both water and air by connecting a diesel tank, Coolant / Water tank (as needed ) and a Coolant – Air Heat Exchanger.

ITEM is located in Buffalo NY. Best way is to email me @ anoopkrishna.r@gmail.com
