Diesel Montero/Pajero Owners

I have a question for all you lucky diesel owners. Is there a wait to start light on the dashboard of your vehicles? And if so, where is it located? The light I am talking about is the one we have on our Powerstroke powered ambulances. It is the one that tells you not to crank the motor till the glow plugs warm up.
The plan is to install a Cummins 4bt into my 95 SR and I got to wondering if that was something they did over in Fuso land.

Yes and no. The 4D56 motors (2.5) didn't have one. You simply waited to hear the last click of the relay. The 4m40 (2.8) does. Its in the tach cluster, down near the bottom. I think closer to the left? I'll look again tomorrow morn, and let you know for sure.

4bt in a genII? Waaaaay cool!

My 1984 4D55 Turbo Diesel pickup had a light. It also had the above click of the relay. :) The light was in a separate cluster, below the dash, along with the green light for the fuel filter, but its been a few years since I've owned it. So the memory may be off a bit.

rattles light

How hard would it be for you to take a picture of your dash with your light illuminated and post it?
Just thinkin for the future, I would like to keep some semblance of the factory dash. I imagine I will just find an old ford Diesel with the light and adapt the red portion to one of the unused ones. Maybe the ABS since I won't be able to adapt it to function on a Dana front axle.
