Diesel Stovetop/Heater

I bought a used Wallas stove 125 DU (essentially the 95 DU, now called the Nordic DT) a few months ago, in anticipation of using it in a camper conversion. I've decided to go another direction, and now the unit is for sale.

It's a 2 burner diesel stove, with a lid that closes and a blower, such that it also functions as a cabin heater. I bought it from a marine reseller, and haven't done anything but take it out of the packaging to look at it. Appears to be in excellent condition.

I paid $800 plus shipping (these things usually go for more than $2,000). Entertaiining offers. Shipped from Salt Lake city (84018)

The original post was a year ago - and the original poster (OP) has only ever posted to the forum twice. Possibly unlikely that he'll see your message. You should try sending him a PM instead.

Quick question about these things. Can you use alternative fuels in them?

When I spoke with the guys at West Marine in Seattle about them they said use normal Dino diesel that you get from the pumps...problem is some pumps put up to 5% (?) bio in their diesel fuel.

Haven't had a problem with mine except one strong wind blowing it out, once. I've since placed a cover/diverted over the exhaust and no more problems...
