Diesel Water Heater?

Hi,

I'm looking to build an expedition trailer. I have been gathering information for well over two years now for my build. I am pretty convinced on diesel to power everything I have(Tow Vehicle, Heater, cooking, and anything else I need). My only issue is hot water. Before I had the whole propane tankless heater. I am curious to find a diesel tankless heater. I don't want it to both heat the camper and the water. I know of products like Aqua Hot which I would like to avoid. And I'm hoping for something more along the lines of the picture below:

Yes. That seems to be the best system up to now that I seen run off diesel. I am planning on having 4 hot water points(shower, outside shower, kitchen sink and outside kitchen sink). All from one hot water source. I may be able to rig something up with that.

You could buy the main components (Webasto water heater kit, plate heat exchanger, buffer tank/header tank) and fit them individually in the vehicle, you wont have any problems feeding 4 outlets with a suitable sized pressure pump.

What about a Webasto Dual Top? Mix of hot water and heating in a single unit, sounds easy to install and all self contained.

I don't want the heating aspect. I already have a diesel fireplace lined up. I want something that I can turn on when I need it, and turn it off when I'm done. I'm using a 6 gallon propane water heater right now and its a waste of energy. And I really want to get away from using propane. My BBQ is even run off pellets. A water heater is the only left to convert. I'm kind of liking the one from Kimberly RV.

Changed my mind guys. I read up a lot on the webasto and it seems to have the ability to run as a heater on its own, water heater on its own, or both together. That will save me room on the heater I had planed. Thanks Maninga
