Disco 1 rad plug bodge

Broke the plastic rad plug so had to look for some temp fixes.

The first fix was the little grey plug taken from a water proof electric box. The final fix was a 1/2 inch pipe plug and some Teflon tape. Now I have to order a replacement brass plug....

Thought this might be helpful to people who break the plug on a Sunday

The plugs are 1/2" BSP. Proper plugs are available for around 50 cents.

Mine has had a brass 1/2 pipe plug in it for years.

The plugs are 1/2" BSP. Proper plugs are available for around 50 cents.

To be specific, they are BSPP as opposed to BSPT.

This is a Sunday I have to get to work Monday fix in my books. I will be replacing it with the proper plug
