Disco rear jump seats

Hello everybody,

I am the current owner of a 89 Chevy Suburban that has allowed me and my family to explore the deserts of Utah reliably and in relative safety. But she is not comfortable as she doesn't have AC. My wife has instructed me to sell her; the buyer is coming to my office this afternoon with a check. I have always wanted a Disco and now that I have an excuse I'm ready to jump in both feet. http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/761075?ad_cid=1

The problem is I have 4 children and I need a seven seater. Can the rear jump seats be added after? Are there aftermarket jump seats available?

The junkyards around me (four of them) are devoid of LR Discos - so I will need a supplier.

Thanks for your help.

The seats can be added later. Just make sure to get all the necessary parts including the seat belts. Good choice to go with a Discovery II in this case. The two rear seats face forward in these and they are a huge improvement over the Discovery I for seating seven.

True, but I've had both a 2000 D2 7 seater and now a 96 D1 7 seater. I have 4 kids as well. From their point of view, they like the D1 seat far better...but I thought the D2 set up was a bit safer.

I also installed jump seats into a friends D2 that did not have them. Make sure you get all the parts, the trim is a little different as well. Also do not forget to add the fold down head rests to your list. Honestly, it's far easier to track down an SE-7 to begin with.
