Send an email to the snorkel manufacturer. I was in the same situation and sent an email requesting the template. They sent me out a PDF of the template. I had to print them out and tape them together. I was pretty nervous cutting into my quarter panel using a taped together template, but it turned out just fine.

Keep in mind, you can print a PDF on 6 different printers and get 6 different sizes. Use only as a guide.... or make / check it against the snorkel before cutting.

The PDF came with guide lines with measurments. I pulled out the handy ruler to make sure everything was the correct size.

Hello
thanks for the replys i had this back from Arbil Automotive

Thank you for your enquiry. The template is not available from Safari, however, I can arrange for a template to be copied. There is a surcharge for this of £10.00. and carriage.

Please let me know if you would like me to go ahead with this.

Kind regards

Don't do the template mistake

Hi

I'd stay away from the templates. I got one with my snorkel, checked it as best I could and drilled the holes, only to find out they were off . I could make two of them wider with a file and had to redrill the two closest to the door.

I might have a different supplier but still. A tip for getting the bolts in the right place is to use a cut of bolt (without the head), screw it in to the snorkel, place it where you want it and gently whak it with your hand. The dent is where you should drill. (And don't worry about the dent, you'll drill a much bigger hole there anyway :))

Also, the outer aluminum is easy to drill through, don't rush it. The inner one is thicker and iron so get a good holesaw, I didn't and it took me forever and ended up with a lot of grinding to get it good.

Regards Johan
