DIY Discovery 2 snorkel ideas

So I've been trying to find some DIY writeups for a snorkel for a 3.9 D2 but haven't had much luck. Seems simple enough from what I've seen of the diesel writeups but what I can't figure out is how to connect the snorkel to the air box since the air box on a v8 D2 has an oval shaped air inlet from the fender to the air box. Any insight or ideas? Picture would be great!

Any ideas? Have nothing to do tomorrow so a DIY snorkel would be a good project
