DIY Jeep Gladiator Fiberglass Camper

Wow, thanks for those pics.
I absolutely love the ability to go right through from the back to the front - THAT is the killer feature of a Gladiator camper in my opinion, and why the Gladiator will shine compared to other pickups - the removable roof makes what you've done possible.

I'm very curious about the vertical rear wall that is the back of the regular cabin, and the vertical front wall of the tub.
Are they still in there and I just can't see them, or did you cut them out and I missed it?

I mean these bits -

Thanks Dan, the walls are still there. This is a bit confusing to explain. The front camper seat sits on top of the walls and can slide forward or back. Hopefully these pictures can explain. Most of the time when I camp I make the camper area larger by sliding the camper seats forward over the Jeep back seats, but I can also leave the access to the front open and/or fold down the backrest of the camper seat.

It took me a while to figure the geometry out, but I think it works great.

The layout is very flexible. Sometimes I put the fridge/freezer in the back and sometimes I put it in the front.

I stopped by a friend's fiberglass shop to get quotes on fiberglass molds to build version 2 of my camper. I'll keep everyone informed if I decide to move forward with production.

I still have a lot to do in order to put this together, but I was wondering what this forum thought about a $14,000 retail price for the camper with pop up and upper bed in Jeep Hardtop Black. Color matched, furniture, and shipping would be extra.

This forum is mostly pictures. If you want to review 80 some pages of me actually building this rig, go to my build forum listed at the bottom of this.

I've been camping in my DIY camper all year so far. I'll try to post more camping pictures on this site.

Below is the edge of the Badlands in South Dakota.

I just installed a fold down faucet with a pressure switch 12volt pump. Works great for my setup where the bed folds down over the sink.
