Man... so after we left Eduardo's I headed over to a friend's house in east Mesa to pick up some springs for another friend. We started chatting, kick'n back some brews.... before I knew it it was 11:00 and I was drunk. :friday:

Needless to say I didn't make the marathon. :p And to make matters worse, my house is totally enclosed by the marathon route. So after driving home this morning (a little hungover), I had to park my truck north of Indian School and walk home.

Thanks for letting us come play with you Stephens. :costumed-smiley-007

Seth,
I watched those poor bastards running in mid 20 degree weather on the TV. Burrrrr! I had to light a fire because just looking at it made me cold!!! :luxhello: :REOutCampFire03:

Yeah... come on Stephens.

Dude! Did you notice me the other morning? Grinned right at you as I turned westbound onto Camelback from Hayden - you were about to turn left onto Hayden. You would have had the first public exposure to the new bumper on the Frontier. :)

Sweet trail, huh? I'd love to camp at the end of it sometime soon. That was a successful trip that opened up some new roads. Several to explore.

Photos attached boys.
  1. Tim and Wil making their way through the brushy trail
  2. Spaceman Spiff and his motorcycle
  3. Sierra Expeditions getting funky
  4. Andy put my Jeep suspension to the test
  5. Pinal Peak covered in snow
  6. Devils Canyon from the east side

Dewd, that was you? I thought it was you at first glimpse, then saw the front bumper and figured it was someone else. Now I wish I would have paid more attention. :p

Nice! I am diggin' the pics. I am very much looking forward to exploring this "new side" of Devil's Canyon. Camping at the end of the road sounds fantastic.

:smiley_drive: Yessir! If you had a cell phone camera, you could have been my demise as I'm holding out on sharing photos of The Beast until I can shoot some on a trail. Which might be this Saturday. . .

The road isn't nearly as difficult as the standard route from Oak Flat and through the switchbacks. Brush is heavy in the last mile or two, and there are several roads that branch off - a few toward the canyon and 2 or 3 that head eastward. Oh, how I wonder where they go. And there is no cure for curiosity.
