I want to cage or dovetail the rear of my Dakota, but I loved haveing a campershell for camping and storein stuff...
I also needed something to put all my on-board water on, and other goodies.

The solution I found off craigslist.

Too bad the camper was trashed

Nick02, thats a really nice trailer. You've done a very nice job with it, excellent use of fish plating, and I like the color. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to future updates. What are some of your plans? Tool box or some sort of storage up front?

Yes, I am trying to find one of those jobsite toolbox things to throw on the front and throw my shurflo pump, batts and other junk in there, just waiting for the right one to show up.
I went to the adventure trailer open house thing and got a brand new SUV tent, sink, toilet, and lamp, all for under $65 bucks:Wow1:

I think I need a bigger truck!
I like the desert tan/black combo on the trailer. How much do you think this thing will weigh when it is done?

No clue how much it'll weigh, I can lift up the tongue now and tote it around the yard by myself all 135lbs of me lolz

Here it is with the tent I got from adventure trailer for $50:Wow1:

That's a score on the gear at the AT open house. I have that exact SUV tent and it's worked out really well for us. It's great for a base camp type setup, but we hate having to pack it all up every time we move locations.

I got it titled and plated and I took it camping; recently I added the truck bed toolbox with on board water system in it, it consists of a shurflo pump, a 17gal RV water tank and an eccotemp L5 hot water heater It worked GREAT!

Then at work when we open the factory to the public at a monthly event called the 4M.
We had overland gourmet featured:chef: and I got to talk about my trailer, so I talked about how it came to be, the on-board water system, sleeping space and other things.
