Does LR4 seats fit and work in an LR3?

Thinking ahead as I’d rather find a nice set of seats from a salvage than buy a new seat pad and cover and rebuild them myself, are the LR4 seats the same as the LR3? I’m thinking I might also be able to add seat memory as a bonus. Of course a nice set of LR3 seats ( black) would be ideal but as they are getting on in age, a nice set from a salvage are getting hard to find.

Straight swap yes but the plugs for the seat adjustment and heat vary slightly.

Not sure about the seat memory settings... probably not.

Retrim your current one at a trimmers?

I had my HSE seat repaired on the side where they always split, along with a new heated element and foam base.

£80 for trimmers to repair seat.
£37 for genuine foam base.
£80 for new genuine heated element.

Thats better than I expected, good idea. My heaters work very well so I should even need that aspect. I also only need a side panel of the divers seat and new foam for the seat bottom. Sounds like that might be an even better plan. ?
