Doing Brakes

My 05 F150 supercab needs new calibers, shoes and rotars in the front. I've never done a brake job before. Is it difficult to do?

No its not hard it can be done easily. In the drive way with tools you have. Be careful when bleeding your brakes.

How I did my F250:

An F150 should only be easier I bet. Do F150's use a drum parking brake as well? I'm sure there are plenty of vids on youtube of F150 brake jobs. Also keep a spare car handy. You may need to swing by the parts store in the middle of your build for a caliper or something. Don't forget to torque your wheel nuts evenly.

I allways use new pins. I like Napa Extra Premium brake pads and rotors. EBC Yellow are the best stopping pads out there, but possibly overkill for most applications.

Brakes aren't a tough job, but since doing a 360 spin in a 63 Impala SS in excess of 80 mph after doing a brake job... I'm always scared when I do 'em!
