93 4 runner, looks to have rear 3" spring lift, front seems to be max lift/tor.bars, when you get it in a drivers side high twist the drive shaft hits the gas tank.it has an extension on the panhard bar bracket, has anyone had this problem and what is the cure? When you get it in a passenger side high twist the shaft is 4-5" from the tank, that seems to be a lot of side ways movement for the shaft for this small car. This is not my car but was brought to me with the problem,i'll make it work right but what is the proper fix??????,

The 98 (3rd Gen) ones do the same thing on the opposite side with lift, I just used a little force on the skid (off the truck) and clearnaced it a bit. Also, I removed the zerk fitting to allow it to clear and not be shaved off.

the shaft is hitting the tank in the middle of the shaft, it needs more than some prying, i already lengthened the panard bar 1.5"and it still hits. I just think i'm missing something, you can't go any longer on the bar it will mess up the rear tracking, what am i missing? That drive shaft moving more than 6" under this car does not seem right, the measurement from frame to tire center is within 1/2 " .??????????????????
