Drove gen III

Today I drove a 2002 Limited 3.5L gen III. It felt like it had more oomp (pull, faster) than my gen 2.5. Now I'm guessing how if both have the same 3.5L engine?

Definitely more refined. I have both 2.5 and 3 and every time I drive the gen 3 I keep saying how much better the experience is. Transmission, suspension, interior, etc.. With having said all that I will still take the 2.5 on the rougher terrains instead of the gen 3.

The gen 3 Limited has a 5-speed auto transmission that started in 01 and that can be the difference.
