My rig is a 1986 Toyota Pickup x-cab 4x4. Bought it in December 2003. It has gone through a lot of changes. started out a gray stock truck with chrome rims and no radio. Put a radio in and some 31s. Then I replaced the bed cause it had rusted out. Then it got hit in the drivers side in a parking lot. I replaced the door and attempted the body work. Sanded it down and primed it. It was primer gray for awhile, then I got tired of it and spray painted it black and put 32s on it. Then I shackled the rear and tightened the torsion bars, trimmed the fenders and had 35s on it. Not long after that I started a job with the state prison and bought a brand new 05 dodge ram hemi 4x4. So the Yota sat for while till I swapped 31s back on and drove it cause it was better on gas then my hemi. Lack of money had me not able to do much to it. Then my sister needed to use it, cause her cars computer died. So she borrowed it. She was driving it one night and was a mile from our moms house and swerved to miss a bear, but hit the bear and took out a fence post and electrical pole. It was on 9/11/11, I remember cause I was sitting on the couch with my wife watching a thing on the 9/11 attack. We got in my Ford and drove down to where she was. I got the Yota started and locked it in 4wd and drove it out of the ditch. Parked it at my moms and my father in law came down with his trailer and we towed it back to my house. It wasn't pretty. I ended up replacing the radiator support, driver fender, hood, grill and lights. It took me sometime and building up money to fix it. Well things changed and I went to work for the federal prison. So money was better. Then our yearly offroad trip came up and I rushed to finish it. I bedlined the bed and rocker panels and then spray painted it blue, swapped in bucket seats from a eclipse and took it on the trip. It did great. Since then I've put a 2" balljoint lift and 33s on it. Funny thing is the rims that came with the 33s matched the rims I already had on it. Hoping to get some new skyjacker shocks for it before our trip in June. Here is how it sits now.

Little update. Havent got to do much to the Yota. Did go back to 31s. 33s were bald. Added a new battery and went with military style terminal mounts.

Did spray the wheels with the Dupli Color Custom wrap black. Chrome was look blah and Im not a huge fan of Chrome wheels on a wheeler.
