Dual battery in series. Where to attach load?

Do you mean fuse the fuse box? I have a fuse between the secondary batteries and solenoid, and the solenoid and the main battery

Don't you have a fuse block/box between your house battery bank and the various DC loads like a water pump, led lighting, etc? If you do, you'll need to add a fuse or breaker between it and the house battery bank. It functions as a main fuse or breaker for your house DC loads. The fuse block/box functions as protection for the individual house circuits.

Ok, I'm following. Any recommendations on amp size? I have 150Amps on the main line, but that would be way overkill for accessories that are fused with 5-15 amps

Typically I add 20% over what I expect could be a max load at a given time.

I think a mini ANL fuse at 20amps should be good. I only have the two accessories outlets wired at the moment. My cooler goes into one and draws 4.5 amps and the other is for.... cell phones? or maybe an air pump. I don't really have any intentions for that one right now other than device charging.
