Dual Propane systems on a 22R

Anybody running one?

I am running a Weber 38 with an Offy intake and some other mods, and the engine runs great, but I am looking for a solution for stalling on steep inclines. There was a post on Pirate where somebody stated that gotpropane makes kits for Webers, but its not on their site.

I am thinking that if I could run my current setup to get to the trail and run propane on the trail, I would have the best of both worlds.

I have a friend who runs one on his buggy with the 22R and it seems to work for him in a variety of attitudes but I know no details.

You probably already thought of this but I recommend checking out IH8MUD and TTORA forums on the 4Runner and Toy trucks - those are the guys performing and posting that mod most frequently.

Check out TTORA and Toyota Trail Riders. There is a guy on TTORA, his screen name is 85 toy crawler, I think it's the same on TTORA. There are a couple guys on TTR that run the gotpropane system. If you want, I can give you Greg's (85 toy crawler) number and you can talk to him about it.

Thanks for the heads up on the other sites. I have been on TTORA for several years, and most opinions over there center around rock crawling, and I have realized that I like expedition type adventures more than lots of body damage

I will see what I can find out and post back up over here. My plan would be to run on gas everywhere, except if I needed to get through something that needed the propane or if I drove somewhere at altitude, I could switch over too.

The more I read about propane, I almost wish I had put my money into a propane system during my engine rebuild.
