Very nice. Can you post more detailed shots on the hinges? I'm thinking about a dual swing out for my 4Runner and am researching hinges right now.

I just used 2 3/4in heim joints on each side. It worked well for my set up because I could tie into the light guards. I have used just about every type of hinge on different swing outs over the years and IMO the 4x4 labs is the best. If you have a good base. It is a lot bigger than most spindle type hinges plus it has a built in stop. They are about $100 each but well worth it. I wouldn't worry about not having dual shear as long as the bumper is built right.

Wow, that is some really fantastic fab work...great job! I can't imagine how much time it must've taken to cut and dimple all those holes in the rack and bumper.

Thanks, yes it takes a lot of time and patience. I had I local shop cut the ones for the rack and then I dimpled them. The rest I cut with a hole saw in my drill press. The dimples do allow me to use thiner metal( 14&16 ga) where without them I would have needed at least 1/8 in so it saves a tone of weight. Plus they look cool

No noise, but saves a ton of weight

Yeah, I've understood the major benefits of dimple dies and being able to use the lighter gauge steel, I just always wondered about the noise in applications such as yours. Also, they look like they make for great tie down points!

I don't notice any more noise than normal and yes they do make great tie down points

Do you mean from the lower tube to the upper? That is about 2 in I believe.
