DV with family, Argus Mtns. and Mengel Pass...

Within the past year, everyone in my family got their hands on a 4x4, so we loaded up the trucks and headed for the desert. My wife and I, mom and pop, two sisters and brother, assorted significant others, 6 dogs, and 1 Phantom Drone headed for the Argus range and the Defense Mine on the west side of the Panamint Valley...

Rough trail up to the Defense Mine

Temps were well below freezin so its good Ryan brought a full bar and plenty of carne asada

Next morning, my trooper of a wife up on Lookout Mtn. She's actually 3 months pregnant:av-7:!!

After we left the Argus, we headed across the Panamint to Goler wash. First a litte trail carnage, a sidewall went on the the LC

Goler Wash had just been graded

After some rougher trail up to Mengel Pass, we made it to the top and checked out the view

Night 2 we landed at a cabin in Butte Valley, not Greater View cabin or the Geologist cabin, the other one, with the Hanta Virus

Thanks Wh1t! We saw no one in the Argus Mtns. and several small groups in DV, actually more than I've ever seen in DV but it was a holiday . Anyway , let's wheel sometime , hit me up on your next sno run ...
