Dyson Hot+Cool.

I recently took my GMC Safari based mini-rv on its maiden voyage. Since the temperatures over our 5 day outing were moderate, we slept comfortably every night.
Since returning, we've begun to consider what should be the next refinements in our vehicle. Heating/cooling seemed like an area we should address soon. In 80-90 degree weather, it could get pretty stuffy in our tin tent.
That's why we've been wondering if the Dyson Hot+Cool is a viable solution for our purposes.
Obviously, at $400, it's very expensive, but it seems to offer the potential to solve both our heating and our cooling needs reasonably well for the one high price.
Any comments, reviews from Dyson owners, or alternatives to suggest?
Thanks.

I guess if you need the latest gadget that would do the job.

We've got a small ceramic element heater that we use in our pop up camper when hooked to shore power, maybe $30, smaller than a shoe box. A fan is a fan, blows ambient temp air around.

I mounted a small electrical ceramic heater in my rover. Darn thing sucks up juice! I accidentally left it on during a long lunch and when I came back, my batteries (yes, 2 batteries in parallel!) were both dead. Granted, I had just used the winch but even still, it just sucked all the electricity out of it.

Guess I got what I paid for.

Dyson claim's to cost as much as 30% less then conventional fans to warm a room. You're right though. Heaters suck up energy like crazy. Just can't see myself ponying up the cost of air conditioning. It would eat a lot of power too!
