Looks like the seller paid around $32k for it a few months ago and is now selling it...

This is a rare opportunity to own what is considered the HOLY GRAIL of diesel Vans.

Up for grabs is a Custom 1998 Ford E-350 4X4 7.3 powerstroke diesel conversion van. This van needs absolutely nothing. It has a legendary 7.3 turbo diesel engine. Currently the van has 309K mile on the chassis only. Everything else has been replaced or restored. The van is very clean. Has zero rust on it. It is originally from Arizona so it never seen snow or salt on the roads. There are no leaks of any kind. This van is a smoke free van. It has brand new upholstery in the entire interior of the van. Has two captain chairs in the back that have quick release for easy removal in case you need to haul something big. It also has a bench seat that fold out into a bed. This seat also has the quick release on it. It has a new kenwood stereo system with Bluetooth. This van rides very smooth and has no death wobble. It goes straight as an arrow down the highway an 80 MPH. It has a newer front clip and a new paint job. Van was recently serviced, all fluids were changed (tranny, motor oil, transfer case, axles) and all the filters were replaced. The engine has been replaced and has 117K miles on it (which is nothing for the 7.3 powerstroke, its barely broken in). All the gaskets, belts have been replaced.

Not surprising to see it up for sale again.

Looks to me to be nothing more than a polished 4x4 people mover.

And $30k for a rig with 300k+ miles is laughable, even assuming all the work has been done correctly.

A 7.3 with 300k should still have a lot of life left in it, but yeah I agree $30k is a lot with that much mileage. You can buy used Quigleys that haven't been polished quite as much for under $20k and 100k miles all day long.

I dont care what motor is has, or if it has been replaced (like this one as)

At that mileage I would be hesitant to trust much of anything.

If I had done the work, sure. But otherwise, nobody knows for certain if the work was done correctly.

Especially with a rig that has changed hands so many times.

That alone in my eyes makes it nowhere near a $30k rig. And like you said, there are loaded of 100k rigs out there for MUCH less.

In my eyes, the more than has been done = more to be suspect of.

And at 300k, LOTS has been done.
