Interesting. The first eBay photo shows the vehicle wearing a license plate, so I guess it's registered in BC. Maybe it was a mining company vehicle?

Greg's a nice guy and this is a nice truck that would have been just killer with one of the fiberglass shells I had, producing something like this:

.

But as best I could figure out with diligent effort, there's no way this truck is going to make it over the border into the United States by any even-remotely legal tactic, except by someone Customs considers a visitor.

Wow, I can't believe this joke is still around.

In case you have not been following the news for the last 4 years:

$1US = $1CAN.

I was just kidding about the exchange rate just a friendly poke at our northern neighbors, or my eastern pals I guess, btw I'm French Canadian so you don't need to get your maple syrup loving britches in a bunch (also a joke, an insensitive one so please forgive me, I saw an opportunity)

Not sure how this got in, but looks fantastic!

Must sell and be paid by February 8... Not responsible for shipping or customs issues.

Maybe he had until Feb 8 to get it converted to CA spec., and found out just how difficult that is?

I know it has a license plate in the photos, but that doesn't mean, nor does he state, that it is legally registered.

Oh yeah it's that way for tractors too so CA tractors and privately owned fleet trucks are going cheap at auctions, got an International cherry picker with all the bells and whistles and extra stuff for 5K and drove it up to the AK ;)
