Well, gang, I can tell you that, after the owner and the dealer, there's no one who will be more delighted than me if they get their $156K Buy It Now price for that XV-JP.

BTW, if any of you are thinking it's just what you need, **PLEASE** talk with me first. I can give you a such a deal. :sombrero:

Yeah, but that one has that really nifty wrap on it...justifies the price, no?

my favorite factory install on the earth roamer, was the bungie cord cloth storage boxes. they reminded me of the 50 bucks i spent on the kids dorm room.

did they sell all 11 to happy customers, or did they write them down as a loss?

Hey, I've got trees and grass on mine. And my graphic is made up of about 6,000 little pieces. That's gotta be worth more than a plain ol' wrap, fer sure.

No $150 kilobucks? Sigh. Cancel the new S-Class, dear. (Though, sadly, there may be that much in the truck. I've been afraid to hit the "SUM" button for many years now.)

Still, no one would be better to inherit the truck. The number of us holding world-class curmudgeons like Waldorf in proper esteem is getting pretty small. Perhaps it's time to change my avatar to Statler.

They sold them all, or at least they all went somewhere. They finished the last one on a 2011 chassis a few years back. Just think . . . having two of them (at least) for sale at the same time would be like having 4 million Camrys to chose from.

I guess $156k might be considered a deal since (IIRC) they had it listed on the dealer website for a little shy of $190k. :Wow1:

I'll clue you in, guys--XV-JPs are going to be the Curtis Aerocars of the 2070s, and by then, $190K will seem dirt cheap. They've got rarity and, umm . . ., sleek lines and, ummm . . . rarity . . . yep, XV-JPs have all the important collecting attributes. :sombrero:

Are they "vintage" yet?
