Up for sale is a brand new Edge Products EAS Universal Turbo Timer, Part # 98604. Still has the plastic wrap on the box.

I purchased it before I realized it's incompatible with my truck and Edge Insight CTS setup (I don't have OBDII, which this requires). Rather than return it and pay for additional shipping and restocking fees, I'm offering it here. Retails for $150. Yours for $120 shipped --> Price reduced to $110 shipped.

You need to have an Edge Insight, Evolution, or Juice system plugged into your OBDII port, plus an EAS Starter Cable, for this turbo timer to work.

Let me know if you have any questions. If you have a diesel engine or an engine that runs hot, I highly recommend a turbo timer!

Product Info from Edge:
The EAS Universal Turbo Timer is designed for all diesel engines (except for the 2006-2011 Dodge Cummins).

A turbo timer is a device designed to keep an engine running for a pre-specified period of time or a until a specific temperature is reached in order to automatically execute the cool-down period required to prevent premature turbo wear and failure. This also allows the lubricating oil from the engine to circulate properly so the turbine won't burn the lubricating oil that would otherwise be trapped within the charger with the turbine rotating at high speed.

The Edge Accessory System (EAS) was created with future expandability in mind. The architecture of the EAS allows users to connect multiple accessories, daisy-chain style, to the CS and CTS platform. The ability to daisy-chain multiple accessories using the EAS allows users to monitor and display dozens of parameters on a single device.

* Turbo timers are only available to work with the CS and CTS product lines. In order to use the turbo timer you must have an EAS Starter kit (part # 98602). EAS Starter kits come with all Juice w/ Attitude CS and CTS products and the EAS Starter Kit w/ Expandable EGT (part # 98603).

Hi D45, this is an add-on to the the Edge CS/CTS/CTS2 series of drivetrain monitors and controllers. Assuming you already have a CS/CTS monitor and EAS starter kit, you simply plug in the Turbo Timer to the starter kit's receptacle, and run the Turbo Timer's 3 wires to your fuse panel (Edge specifies which fuses to tap in to for your truck, and provides plug-and-play fuse taps). It's really simple.

If you don't yet have an Edge CS/CTS installed, that install is simple as well. Using the Insight CTS as an example, you mount the CTS monitor to your windshield, A-pillar, or dash, and plug it in to your OBDII port. You then install an EAS accessory starter kit, which is a single wire that runs from the CTS to your engine bay, allowing you to hook up all your accessory add-ons in the engine bay (or under your dash, if you prefer).

Once the Turbo Timer is installed, you use the CTS to program the amount of cooling time you want the engine to run after you remove the key. Done.

If you already have the CTS and want a turbo timer, this one is definitely the ticket since it integrates with the CTS and you don't end up with a separate turbo timer controller. Plus, if you have the Edge EGT probe installed, I think you can also program this turbo timer to turn off your engine at a specified temperature (say, 350F) rather than a specified time.

Needless to say, I was really excited to get this turbo timer installed before I realized (after talking with Edge's amazing tech support and engineering department) that this won't work with my truck since I don't have OBDII on my old-school 300Tdi.

Yes, I have the Edge CTS with the Edge EGT Probe...........tempting

My main concern was how it tapped into which wires...............but since it is fuse taps, that kind of eases my mind

Still for sale!

And yeah, D45, this turbo timer is as easy of an install as any other option out there (all of them have 3 12v wires: ignition, run, constant), with the added bonus that it's integrated with the Edge display. Fuse taps are even included.
