Hello everyone,
I'm selling a nice looking, unused ELTRIP-26s tripmeter kit. Here's what I compiled regarding this device...
The ELTRIP-26s is a multi-function tripmeter from the Finnish company Trippi ky. I purchased this from Ebay around four years ago. I believe it was built in the mid-90's.
According to a few email exchanges with the company when I was researching this a number of years ago, I was told the ELTRIP-26s was replaced by the ELTRIP-45n10. I believe this tripmeter may be used for on-road, off-road, rally or commercial vehicles; any place you require an accurate measure of time or distance.
This kit includes:
ELTRIP-26s Tripmeter
Sensor w/cable
Power wires
Mounting Brackets and other hardware
A copy of the Operating Manual in English
2 original Finnish Operating Manuals (a little dingy)
The kit components do not appear to be used, but the packaging is worn and showing its age. However, this should not affect the components. I did apply 12v to test it and the display turned on, so I believe it is functional and I have no reason to believe otherwise. According to the literature this tripmeter can provide distance, time, and total distance.
The two potential challenges I see are:
Installing the tripmeter will require some knowledge of your vehicle's electrical system.
The tripmeter appears to be setup or originally developed for METRIC use though you may be able to get around this issue with some simple math when you calibrate it...but I'm not 100% sure.
If you are even a little bit mechanically-inclined you should probably be okay, but I can't make any promises.

* 24 V display on 50 mA, 1,5 W display off 25 mA, 0,6 W
MEMORY PROTECTION: approx. 24 hours in case of power break.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE: - 30 .. + 60 C
