Escalante NM Road Report 3/16

Skutumpah Rd - passable with snow and mud
Smokey Mountain Rd - passable with snow and mud
Paria River - lots of quicksand and road washouts but passable
Croton Rd. - impassable... Seriously and no sign of repair in sight...
Left Hand Collett - impassable, but cowboys were on the way out with a front end loader to repair the wash...
Wolverine Loop - Passable in a Jetta

Lot's of snow on Northern exposures as low as 5,000 ft.

For the most part the roads have not been graded or cleared for the season, so add some travel time.

The road report was important, I thought, as Utah season is upon us and those are some of the more remote and fussy roads this time of year.
