I'm at the stage of sorting out all the various storage areas in my camper - spent last night with bits of cardboard and my Wolffpack travel boxes doing mock ups of the interior layout etc. I'm off to South Africa on a bit of a holiday, and will be buying another 10 Wolffpack boxes - I've only seen them for sale there - I've had four for the last 15 years and they are great. I plan to have all the storage modular - much easier than having to dig through drawers and cupboards.
I've decided to go with a full size Queen bed - 153cm wide and 50cm deep so that give me a decent storage area under the bed. I'm planning to have part of the "boot accessible from inside with drawer runners the slide out on the inside to hold things like clothing and food. It will be sealed off from the other part of the boot that is accessible from outside.
I would love to get some ideas from other people's layouts and various storage compartments, how they are accessed - ie do you get to them from outside or inside, what gets stored inside and what outside, what works and what doesn't etc.
For example - the two subframe tubes are open ended on my Mog - and I can easily store things like poles and pipes up to 3.6m long in them - not sure why I would the the option is there - maybe a few Acro props to prop up some of the weaker wooden bridges around here?
Anyway, I would love to see photos or here ideas about what you have on your camper and how useful they have been.
