For sale: 2009 BMW G650GS - Located in Hudson, NH 03051 - Asking $5,750, or $5,250 without the panniers (but who wants an ADV bike without panniers).
This is my wife's "big bike" ride. It breaks our hearts to put Ingrid Bikelson up for sale, but life's getting in the way of having 4 bikes in the garage right now. We're under contract on our first house and planning an all-next-summer TAT and beyond ride on our DRZs, so the big bikes just aren't going to get ridden and we could use the cash.
We've got it set up well with some big money accessories. Highlights include:
- Britannia Composites Mirage fairing/windshield with Blue Sea dual USB outlet and two RAM mounts (stock windshield and hardware included)
- ADV Monster aux lighting and LED headlight bulb
- Eastern Beaver 3 circuit solution with two ignition-controlled relay circuits (aux lighting and heated vest) and one constant on (USB and GPS mount)
- Touratech Zega panniers
- BMW tank bag
- Crash guards
- Skid plate
- Happy Trails top rack and rear AUX LED brake/turn lights
- Both stock and Dakar "tall" seat (still not really that tall. My wife is 5'9")
- TKC 80's (front <1000 miles... rear has around 1500 or so miles left)
- BMW hand guards
- Factory heated grips
- Factory ABS
- Regular height (not lowered)
- NH ATV registration valid until June 30 (lots of fun on your fly-and-ride)
Recent maintenance completed at dealer (Second Wind BMW) includes:
- New fork seals (May 2014)
- New front TKC-80 (May 2014)
- 24,000 mile service (the big $money$ one, with valve checks, all fluids flushed, etc) (November 2014, less than 1k miles ago (long story as to why it was late - basically we thought it was done and it was not)
- New chain and sprockets (November 2014)
- New Battery (November 2014)
The bike has around 28k miles on it now, and less than 1,000 miles since all the service. I'll get an exact number if you need it - it may still be ridden occasionally.
I'm asking $5750, but willing to negotiate for an easy sale to an ExPo member, instead of some random preson off the local classifieds. Local sales preferred, but I can work with the shipping company of your choice. Can also ship from a loading dock in Bedford, MA (01730) if that makes your shipping cheaper.
Ready to go for a fly and ride - closest/easiest airport is Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) (and I can pick you up) but you could also get here from Boston-Logan (BOS).
