Exploring The Dona Ana Mountains, NM.

Went out with a group of folks from the El Paso area to explore the Dona Ana Mountains. The mountans are located just north of Las Cruces by the small town of Dona Ana. There is not just one trail but more like several interconnecting trails in which you could easily spend a few days exploring. We spent the weekend and had a blast. I go hiking every year in Alamogordo when I visit family, i love it out there.

I’m glad you had a chance to wheel in Las Cruces, we have tons of trails. It’s surprising how big the Dona Ana’s are once you start driving on them; they are steep too. Let me know next time you explore this way.
