Expo build advice

I'm going to start off with a ford ranger xlt, 4.0v6 with 5sp manual, and 4wd. Im seeking advice on what would be a good compromise between a prerunner style suspension and an expo style. I'm not interested in serious prerunner style. I will have a cap and sleeping platform in the back. And plan on running 33s. I have checked out the Dixon bros racing suspension kits both front and back and I like their kits better than the other manufactures. Is there anyone that has a ranger and has either ran this setup or is currently using it. Anything would be apreciated.

Yep, right here lol

Agreed, a TTB truck would be totally ideal for a mild ExPo/Prerunner crossover (with a good amount of 'crawler' you could throw in there too if you want... kindof all what my BII is). The newest TTB truck is a '97 though... (not sure how old you're looking to go).

The DB A-arm kit to me is pretty serious stuff (maybe not quite competition/race stuff, but certainly well up there on a consumer scale). However there isn't really a whole lot else out there for A-arm trucks like there is for the TTB trucks (Superlift... Ho-Hum), so I guess you're kindof forced into it unless you can fab up your own parts for it.
I'd just D44 SAS the thing if you want a newer truck. Built right, you can get a SA to run at fairly decent speeds if needed, and would be about $2-3K cheaper too.
