Expo fans in mississippi??

Posted this over on the CENTRAL STATES regional forum with zero responses, lets try here.

Looks like the government (Veterans Admin) and their infinite wisdom may be relocating me and my XJ to the Biloxi area in the next few months. Will be packin up the copilot (wife) and hound soon. Any EXPO types in that area on here?
Like all jeeps ours is in evolution and will probably nerver be "Done", but we enjoy day trips and double track weekends. Have really enjoyed AZ the last few years and all it offers but we have to leave the crawlin stuff to the flexy fat tire boys for some new vistas. Will be especially looking for some shooting areas. Really have enjoyed just headin out 10 miles or so into the desert and setting up our targets and hope we can find something like that out in Mississippi.

It will be a change from Arizona. But we have a few good areas to ride, some decent ones in the Desoto National Forrest area. I try to stay away from the mud. Alot of the decent riding areas are going to be about 45 min. north of the coast. I live here Gulfport, just to the west of Biloxi.

Finally!

I was beginning to worry. Thought maybe the Jeep Santa just flew over that area but never stopped, or did they all think I was some wacko militia freak lookin to spread hate & discontent with my measly 22's. My god I work in the VA, how much of a bone head can I be..... don't ask my wife to answer that.

Nice to know someone also likes to explore and not spend all week trying to get the brown goo out of his U joints (or shorts). I left the NAXJA guys for all that hardcore stuff and came over here for some reality. Thanks for the call back on Mississippi and I hope to see you guys sometime mid summer. I always look forward to new trails, adventures & jeep talk.
