I'm not having any luck finding 9251, or trying to connect to 9250, in case that is where you guys are.

I just read the rules for 925X also, and it looks like Echolink is prohibited. :-(

Hi guys,

Tried to connect in but wasn't successful. It looks like the 2m node I can reach from my place doesn't allow reflector access. I'm going to e-mail the owner to ask more info. Too bad I wasn't a bit closer to the UHF repeater...

How you guys have a good chat!

Pete- you just type in 9251 instead of 9250. It's a sub-channel. There were only three of us on the net tonight, but it was fun. Hopefully you can find some access by next time!

Comments on my connection to the net tonight –

When I announced to the local repeater that I used the past two nets that I was about to activate the IRLP I got another ham warning me that the repeater is connected to the win system - http://www.winsystem.org/ - He thought it very unusual that I would re-direct it to another node and was not very keen on the whole idea – he was in San Diego area. I let him know that I had gotten permission from the repeater owner and he left me alone. He was very pleasant. I proceeded to connect to the 9251 node.
After the net I was disconnecting and thought to myself “how am I going to re-connect this repeater to the win system?” I listened for a few minutes and it auto-reconnected. Then I heard someone ask if they missed the Expo net and it was the repeater owner Steve. He was super cool and when I told him about the warning I had gotten from the other ham he said no problem – his repeater is always open to others to re-direct the IRLP to other nodes and will always default back to the win system. I felt a lot better after speaking with him. He may join the net one of these days.
