I had seriously considered purchasing this truck but have realized Im not quite ready for an 80 series, I thought it was a nice enough truck to put here on portal and see what everybody thought. Owner is ready and willing to answer questions, truck seems to be a really clean Southern California rig. The seller is Kevin Viers, I will include his description with some pictures. He is fully aware of me putting this on portal for him. Seems like a real stand up guy.

1997 FZJ80. 165k on the truck. Clean title in my name. White w/tan leather. Unlocked.
MODS-
-2.5" TJM lift w 30mm spacer in front.
-2.0 FOX reservoir shocks from DSM
-TJM rubber caster bushings and fresh alignment.
-Hannibal flat roof rack w/42" LED light bar.
-AOE 4x4 front bumper, sides of bumper cut, lowered and rewelded to be level with flares and to use front turn signals.
12,000 lb badlands winch.
-DEPO crystal clear headlights w/8k HID upgrade, clear corners and LED taillights.
-Brass radiator(new) for 93-94 80 series
-Blue Toyota fan clutch-modded
-New OEM Toyota belts for water pump and alt.
-Fresh OEM plugs, wire set fairly new.
-LED interior lights.
-ULtragauge installed to monitor temps O2s etc.
-Kenwood ddx-719 head unit. Bluetooth, DVD, etc.
-5x 285/75r16 Toyo Open Country M/T, maybe 5000 miles on them, spare is brand new.
-Cut and turned catalytic converters.
-All fluids front to back are new. Redline oils in all diffs.
-Sean copy rear bumper(sorry Sean) w/ dual swingouts, hi lift jack, spare mount and ladder.
-Have slider kit from Adam 4xinnovations, not installed yet.
-valve cover gasket new 6 months ago
-CDL and 7 pin mod.
All parts installed within 1 year. Bought stock 1 1/2 years ago from the original owner. Thought I would be able to get out more, but work and life wont allow me wheeling time. This truck is very clean. I've only taken it in the dirt 1 time, fire roads to Santiago Peak in Orange County. This is my daily driver and has run flawlessy since Ive owned it.
Now the bads.
-Has the dreaded P0401 EGR code. Brand new Toyota EGR valve, needs VSV valve replaced.
-Has roof damage from previous owner. A tree branch fell on the roof in Big Bear. I removed the headliner and sunroof and pushed out the dent, then reinstalled everything. Still has a few wrinkles in the roof behind the sunroof. Sunroof works and hasn't leaked.
-Rear bumper needs to be painted.
Asking $8000 OBO.
