Extended Brake lines with 2" coil spacers

Does anyone know where I can find a pair of longer brake lines for when I install 2" rear coil spacers? I've heard it's a stretch to get them to fit, but I don't want the chance of a brake failure. I found a post on 4x4wire, but the guy is referring to a gen1 with gen2 coils. Will this part number for the brake line work on a gen 2 rear?

"I used a 38417 brake hose and a 265-1323 NAPA sway bar kit. Just had to cut the nipples off the get a nice fit."

Here's the link to the actual post (hope this is allowed)

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
I ended up using the long Toyota one on my gen 2 which i am pretty sure was the same part i used on my Gen 1. I don't have a part number i just went to napa and bought whatever part number i got off 4x4wire.com and it was listed as a Toyota part.

I ran the Daystar 2" coil spacers for 4 years on my last Gen II without extending the brakes lines without issue.

I did not remove the swaybar though. If I'd done that prolly would of extended them.

That said, the brake lines are prolly original - would not hurt to replace them.

I've already permanently removed my swaybar, I used the napa number for the brake line and found it on ebay for $10, so I'm going to pick it up along with the coil spacers. Hopefully I can get them installed with a floor jack and some stands, avoid the purchase of a hi-lift.

This sounds scary, i've been witness to a highlift coil swap. I think the truck fell off the highlift but i can't remember because nobody was hurt. Anyway remove the shocks (or just unbolt one side) use your floor jack to lift up the center of the rear axle assembly as high as you can, put your jackstands under the frame, lower the jack a little to get the frame rested on the stands, remove the tires, fully lower the jack and the coils will fall out. PA_JERO learned this trick last year when i gave him my 4" coils, works brilliantly. We used to use a forklift or car lift to change coils or add spacers but now that i work for a government shop i'm not allowed to use anything for personal use.

I used generic stainless braided lines for mine which are available in any length with universal fittings on the ends. Then all you need is the proper size banjo fitting for one side, and the proper adapter fitting for the other side. I got them at Summit Racing, but I'm sure any speed shop would keep them in stock.
something like this

this is similar to what I used

Exactly, hopefully I can avoid using a hi-lift if possible. Like you said, an actual car lift would be ideal, but I don't have access to one anymore. Either way, should be a pretty easy job, I was mostly concerned about sourcing the correct parts.

Almost forgot about custom lines, i had some made locally at a hydraulic hose shop for one of my Gen 1's and my Hilux. cost was roughly $1 per foot and $5 per end, i got the steel braided rubber coated lines. They don't look as cool as the hotrod stuff but they do the job.

I'm in Wenatchee, central WA. The only aspect I was concerned with was finding the correct extended brake line, but now that I found it, should be no problem. I'm ordering the parts tonight, so we'll see how it goes when they come in. Thanks.

Ah, I'm in Seattle. Should be rolling through Wenatchee next Thursday pulling the heading to Canada....
