Extreme trailer lift questions- Airstream Bambi

2000 Airstream Bambi, single axle with stock 18 inch tires.

This is a torson axle set up. I am looking to upgrade to a wider axle and do an extreme lift to allow for 37 inch tires.

Has anyone seen or heard of any posts on doing this. I have a rough plan but would like to learn from anyone else's experience before the surgery begins.

Never heard of anyone do it to an airstream. Are you going to try and stuff the tire under or get a really wide axle and put it outside the exterior of the trailer? That's gonna get ridiculously wide really quick. Sticking it under is going to either require some create fab work or a REALLY tall lift.

Why 37s? That's a massive tire.

:iagree: I think most places you would need 37s to access would be a bit narrow/extreme for the size of it? i think 33s would be sufficient.. :sombrero:
