f350 base for my expo vehicle

I finally got rid of the tahoe I had and purchase my new to me f350
It is going to be the base for my new expo ride. planning racks and roof top tent and kitchen and shower. Lot of work ahead of me but should be fun.

2000 f350 7.3 diesel 6 speed, 3:73 gears crew cab 4x4, manual front hubs.

excellant base for an expo vehicle. i really like the six speed i had in my '03 f350. any plans for a leveling kit or lift?

getting use to the six speed. Maybe a touch larger tire but no lift kit, I really like that it fits in my garage by a few inches and i have a foot and a half behind it to get by it in the garage. I just found the key that the previous owner said he lost in the bottom of one of the boxes. So i cleaned and lubed all the lock mechanisms so they work and lock and now its loaded with tools and jumper cables and shovels and so on. Thats on one side the other side is still open for more stuff.

Planning on a rack for the back to hold mountain bikes and other equipment and coolers and a roof top rack for carrying other supplies.

Building to do some local adventures in AZ and down to Baja and back.

Very nice. My '01 has served me very well for 265,000 miles.

Definately need pics of that bed. Will keep an eye on this as we will be downsizing in a handful of years and hope to build upon my f350.

Yep, I dig the bed, too. Our 2002 F-350 here at WARN has a simlar bed. Very handy for stashing gear.
