F350 Bumper

I really like the Trail Ready Crawler. It fits close, maintains a good approach angle, and nicely hides a big winch. It doesn't protect above the bumper though. Any other ideas that have all the benefits of the TR, but that have protection that extends above the bumper? Thanks!

they have options for full grille guard or pre runner style

you'll also need a practical rear bumper

They do, but those models protrude much further out than the Crawler and the winch hang out even further. Like the rear bumper though! ;)

Find a fab shop to modify the crawler bumper?

You're committed to a left kit and bigger tires. A bigger bumper wind be as good of approach angle but it'll probably better than stock. Or just live dangerously! I hit a small elk at 55 and it bent my ARB enough to lock up the driver side tire but it kept it from coming through the windshield. A leveled super duty is super tall so I'm choosing to risk it. I slow down at if I'm driving at night.

I'll level, but not lift significantly higher. We'll run 35s. My main goal is safety and continued roadworthiness in the event of a strike far from home, especially in some place like Baja.

I still don't know if I can get credit for the Ford/Warn winch. If not, it'll likely remain stock.

If I can, they will send a raw Crawler that I could get modified and then powder coated. I'd get a 16.5 winch in that case. I like it as it's designed though. I don't have the truck yet (production this week), so I don't know where the vulnerable bits sit.
