Fabricator/Welder for sliders in Los Angeles?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to get a set of sliders for my FJ80. Since I have the early FJ80 there aren't any pre-made sliders for my rig and I must go custom. So I was thinking about getting the 4x innovations sliders in a custom length for the 80 and then have someone put them together since I have no welding experience whatsoever.

Any recommendations on places? I'm in Burbank, CA.

I am looking to get my bolt-on sliders welded on to my Tacoma. Would anyone have any recommendations on who could do this in the San Diego area? Or just a rough estimate on what the cost will be? I just don't have the tools or skills to do it. :Mechanic:

Got my sliders fabbed up and welded to my car by Simon aka 'theexile' yesterday. The sliders came out great and Simon was great to work with at a reasonable price. I'll post up pics of the sliders soon. Thanks Simon! :clapsmile

For San Diego area welders, I've used Dallas Ashley at Stinkyfab in Vista (760-525-6886) but he's also working for the Red Bull Rock Crawling team so he may not do so many side jobs. He built my custom sliders and installed them for a very, very fair price. Works out of a one bay place off of Sycamore. My bumper was made by Al Cascia of ABC Fabrications in La Mesa (619-743-8780) but he has a day job in San Marcos so it's easy to meet him before or after work for us North County folks.
