I also don't know exactly what size fuse is supposed to be in the slot for the amp. Did you factory stereo work before you attempted to install the new HU?

No. The guy I bought it from removed the anti theft from it due to an issue that caused it not to start. A common thing from what I gather on these from this year/s. I tried putting the factory radio back in to see if I did something in the wiring but it keeps blowing with that too. But when I put the fuse in I can hear static outta the speakers slightly. Causing me to believe that there may be a short in the amp??
