The family and I had the desert bug for the past month or so...We watched the weather and made a dash for it Friday afternoon. We have been blessed to make many trips to the desert so we weren't sure where to go...Canyonlands, the Swell, the Roost, or the Reef? All great places. As our cruiser rolled into Price, we randomly picked the Swell.
Fueled up and drove south through Cleveland. It reminds me of my first trip to the Swell 13 years ago...
Went to one of our favorite spots...hadn't been there in 6 years but the views still were grand!
Lilly was missing soccer so we thought we would practice a little. Not the best field, but a good place to practice.
We rallied to head down the Black Box of the San Rafael River. A must do!
Our dog Ginger caught a ride...
Lilly loves the outdoors..she has spent 40 nights or so camping in the last six months. Probably because she is always enjoyin the fresh air!
The water is murky and cool...
We saw signs of the past too...
The sun was setting and so too the light...Magic Hour!!!
Get out there...It's yours for the takin...
