Fender Flare installation hardware for 1998 Montero

Hello Guys!

Quick question... anyone know where to purchase the fender flare installation tab for my 1998 Montero? Finally got around to finding a flare kit, albeit incomplete, and wouldn't wish to drill through the metal of the fender as I have seen on other trucks.

I have searched all over the internet, and haven't been lucky so far...

Assistance greatly appreciated; thanks!

By the way, just ordered the 2" lift kit (2.5" diameter on lift block option...). Now, to start watching for a nice 15" or 16" x 8" wheel set. 31" or 33" tires should look nice...

I have a set of 15x8 alloy wheels that clear the Montero hubs I bought last year that I may not use, let me know when you decide you need a set and I will provide pictures.

What do flairs on a '98 look like? Gen 2.5 I assume you are talking about.

The Montero is a 1998 model; this is not an SR model. It is similar to an LS model, and all dealers in PR installed these fender flares... seems then that this was an aftermarket accessory, dealer installed.

Here's another pic... seems I'm going to have to end fabricating the tabs in a metal shop/brake bending...

Eric is Correct... the SR and my model were sold here in Puerto Rico at the same time... SR was the top model, mine was mid-range.
